On Saturday Matt and I spent about three hours putting up the wood slats on the wall in the downstairs kitchen. It was actually alot of fun. Matt got to use his tools and had a lot of fun doing it. We had to saw around the outlet covers and some plumbing covers. We still aren't finished we need to add the wood trimming on the top but it is almost there.

It was fun to spend the time together and feel like we were professionals. Remodeling can be fun, but only if you have the time though.

It is amazing how much it changes things. It is fun to have the house that you can change and add things as your please. What will you do after Megan gets married- is someone else going to move in?
